Mali is a Sahel country strongly exposed to the consequences of climate change with an impact on livelihoods of the most vulnerable communities. In this regard, CARE Mali has retained resilience as a major programatic axis in its interventions in Mali.

CARE Mali’s resilience and food security strategy supports vulnerable communities to strengthen their capacities, including adaptive and disaster risk response and prevention strategies, as well as increased production and productivity for the sustainable improvement of living conditions. CARE Mali addresses the development of resilience from different angles and through several complementary initiatives.
